This January India celebrated the 62nd anniversary of its Republic Day. The Embassy of India held a Flag Hoisting Ceremony and a Reception to commemorate the date. In the February Newsletter you can find picture galleries of both events.

This month the Embassy also rejoices with the opening of the new “Business Centre and Library”. We look forward to seeing you, family and friends of India utilize this  facility and attend the events. The first scheduled events can be found on the last page of the newsletter.

This month, the ‘Industry’ section of focus is the “Indian Engineering Design and Development Industry”. Additionally, we have picked up the state of Nagaland for the ‘Tourism’ section. Make sure not to overlook the several articles of interest to the Austrian community and the ‘Overseas Indians’ section, which this time, brings valuable information on the ‘Know India Programme’ and the ‘Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2012’.
